Work in the EU - Why not?
The purpose of this project is to better prepare students for finding suitable employment within the European Union, using English as the main language.
The project consists of four modules which focus on the continued development of students from the first to the final year. ICT – Information Communication Technology uses the very latest technologies to allow the lecturer & students to explore the many forms of electronic media that provide an insight into the international job market. Through the use of the internet and email, students can produce curriculum vitae, generate a Europass Language Passport & gain hands-on experience of completing various necessary forms.
Our recently installed state of the art interactive computer system is the perfect teaching aid to structure PC based learning. Students are able to work individually, whilst being monitored from the control station on the teachers’ desk. The system allows the lecturer to take control of individual work stations to help students, broadcast audio and video, and automatically start a number of built in applications.
It is our hope that students attending the courses will gain relevant ‘life experiences’ which they can utilise and improve upon in the future.
